Lessons
The three-year short course will be divided into three modules, each focusing on specific topics. In the first year, the course will initially cover the fundamentals of digital identity and digital citizenship. The aim is to foster an understanding of the issues related to these concepts through an innovative and multidisciplinary approach while also providing the necessary tools to bridge the digital divide. Additionally, it will help users identify and understand the rights and duties they should possess.
The second year will focus on digital security, with particular attention to the protection of digital identity and the management of online threats such as phishing, cyberbullying, hate speech, and the misuse of biometric technologies.
The third and final year will center on active citizenship, with a focus on the dynamics of e-democracy. It will analyze mechanisms for digital civic participation at both national and European levels, as well as the challenges related to regulating emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, facial recognition technologies, and the use of innovative tools such as NFTs in the public and private sectors.
