European Citizenship, Inclusion, Values and Innovation for digital Security

The project intends to promote knowledge of issues related to citizenship and digital security, through an understanding of the founding values of the European Union and the legal instruments recognised to protect the identity of the individual. More specifically, thanks to an innovative and multidisciplinary approach, the initiative aims to develop legal solutions that favour the protection of the rights of those concerned in the context of new technologies, enhancing the principles of inclusion and equality. By stimulating the dialogue between IT, ethics and law, the project aims to address the challenges of the cyber transformation, ensuring greater awareness of EU citizens in contemporary society.

Central to the Module is the specialised teaching course, divided into three steps, each lasting one year and referring to the development of specific skills related to electronic innovation. Conferences, seminars, workshops and open days will be organised, with the aim of creating a bridge between the academic world and society.

The project is intended for university students in the Department of Legal Sciences, those in other Departments of the University, high schools, doctoral students, researchers, and to anyone interested in the subject.
